Unfortunately that's entirely down to wxWidgets as far as I'm aware.
It's unlikely to be fixed in pgAdmin 3, but you'll be please to know
that pgAdmin 4 is nearing it's first alpha release, and that uses
entirely different technologies which shouldn't have this problem.
