This is on a RedHat 6.0 system, no?
To fix this for that specific SRPM, edit the postgresql.spec file and
add the line:
%undefine _fixgroup
after the %prep line. This fixes an issue rpm 3 has with dangling
symlinks. 6.5.1 is not supposed to have dangling symlinks in the
tarball, so this kludge shouldn't be required for 6.5.1 rpms.
Also, to build this src.rpm, you need to have the python-devel package
installed -- it is not installed by default, AFAIK.
6.5.1 RPMS should be forthcoming shortly after the 6.5.1 tarball
release.
