We have been coordinating with the OSU lab administrators regarding the cfarm119 migration. There seems to be some networking issues in their lab. In the meantime, we are also evaluating the following options to make AIX 7.3 available to the community for testing: 1. New node We could provision a new node with AIX 7.3. However, setting up a new system would require a significant amount of time, likely more than a week. 2. Dual boot This would be the easiest approach. The existing node (p9-aix1-postgres1) supports dual boot. One disk currently runs AIX 7.2, while another disk already has AIX 7.3 installed. However, booting into AIX 7.3 would prevent access to the data on the AIX 7.2 disk. This option would also require re‑installing all necessary dependencies for building PostgreSQL. 3. Migration We could migrate the existing node from AIX 7.2 to AIX 7.3. This approach would preserve the existing data, but the PostgreSQL build process would still need to be validated. We will update you on this. Please let us know your thoughts or if you have any questions—we appreciate your understanding and continued support. Have a nice day. Warm regards, Sriram.
