After some discussion the core committee has agreed that it's time to
wind down the 8.4 beta cycle. We will be shooting for:
RC1 wrap Thursday 6/11 for release Monday 6/15.
RC2 (if needed) the following Thursday.
8.4.0 wrap Thursday 6/25 for release Monday 6/29.
This is optimistic, of course, but barring any new complex bug reports
it seems meetable. Let's get those open items taken care of!
