Actually, keyboard isn't implemented in gpmremote (it's only gpm)

The best test would be running sdlremote from another machine, but I don't know if 
your box has a network connection. You can tell a PicoGUI app to connect to a remote 
server by using the --pgserver command line option or setting the pgserver environment 
variable.
