I just committed a fix for this into CVS. Thank you for pointing this bug out. It was
an endianness issue in pgserver/net/dispatch.c. The laptop I've been doing most of my
development on lately is PowerPC, and SMARTDATA's hardware is 68k. The bug only shows
up on x86 :)
