I think this is a bug in the scrolling code. I've recently come across the same thing with X-Chat's new PicoGUI frontend. Right now i thought i'd give the X11 rootless mode a bit of effort, but after that i'm going to be working hard on the textbox and scrolling issues. Web browser here we come :)
