Yes, it has better code. I'd like to move that filtering code into the
common code (I'm not satisfied with the current touchscreen code
either). What I'd like to do is make a more generic function for input
drivers to call than dispatch_pointing(), which would be able to do
conversions like relative->absolute, raw->calibrated, pressure->button
and such. It would in turn probably call dispatch_pointing.
