Wow... someone else here with a VR3. Perhaps I should actually update the PicoVR3 romdisks now. I've been keeping them current with the official AC romdisks and the current PicoGUI releases, but haven't released them in months. When I have time I'm working on handwriting support (the prototype works, but I haven't created an automated version that can be used instead of the keyboard).
The best solution for the VR3 is to strip down an official rootdisk and then add PicoGUI stuff to it. I have a script to remove all the X related things and to add PicoGUI, but I still hand compile every application (which is a pain, but necessary when the PicoGUI client library is checked out from the CVS). -Sean > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Lalo Martins > Sent: Friday, February 08, 2002 6:13 AM > To: pgui-devel > Subject: [Pgui-devel] pgserver/input/vr3ts: calibration file > > > My agenda vr3 installation is crashing because of some problem > with the pointer calibration file. > > I wonder, wouldn't it be possible to load some defaults if there > is some problem with this file, then fire up tpcal ASAP? > > (The way things are currently set up, tpcal tries to run before > pgserver, which of course won't work anymore, now that tpcal is > a pgui application) > > []s, > |alo > +---- > -- It doesn't bother me that people say things like > "you'll never get anywhere with this attitude". > In a few decades, it will make a good paragraph > in my biography.
