Sorry for the late reply. The picogui font engines are mutually exclusive at runtime, so you probably don't want to have both the BDF fonts and truetype fonts installed unless you're trying to waste space :)
On the VR3 you probably want the BDF engine only, as I don't think the freetype engine has been tested on the VR3.
