[Pgui-devel] roms stopped working

Hi folks

This is making me crazy.

Friday I built roms and flashed them to my Helio. tpcal ran, pgserver started and I got a shell prompt via minicom.

Monday (and all day today) every rom I build and flash has the same result. It builds fine, flashes fine and boots to the black screen with the penguin in the upper left hand corner of the screen. However, tpcal does not run and I don't get a shell prompt..

These roms are built from the same code base as those from Friday. I've built roms from code bases I've assembled, dist-helio-2 and from an old code base from April 2001.

I would have thought the Helio was breaking, but I built a rom from an old Transvirtual code base (used to distribute kaffe) and ... it worked fine. Or, at least I got a shell prompt.

I've also used 2 different cradles to connect to the serial port and bought new rechargable batteries.

Has anyone expereinced this before?
