Hi Mark, I had similar experiences - but each time if I backed up to a previous snapshot it would start working again. The entire dist-helio-2 is rather delicate and there is lots that can go wrong. Are you keeping it all in CVS? I have a working snapshot here and if you have your stuff in cvs I can try checking it out and flashing it to the helio.
