Definitely helpful for developer but not for user of an application developed with Pharo. I know I am probably the only one facing this situation, developing desktop applications with Pharo but VM packages does not solve my problem. Indeed, when releasing DrGeo (and iStoa) to the public I have to provide a VM: I don't know the target linux system nor its version.
