Why in Pharo it cannot be the same for god's sake?? +1 to this. We should be able to deliver a minimal core, with the basic features to load external packages. The problem, I suspect, is that project discoverability/installation might not be as straightforward as with a ruby gem, but the integrated catalog eases that in a big extent. Regards! -- Esteban.
