hm... I almost never use it, but I know people that do quite often.
"Method finder" seems even less important (I've never used it, except
for demos ;))

I assume you don't mean the "method finder" but the tool referred to
as "Message names"?
The former is the fancy one you can enter example values like "3. 4.
7" and it will tell you that the method #+ satisfies this example.
I agree that the message names tool is useful especially for beginners.
