If I understand correctly what + and , mean I like them a lot. As I understand 
the difference is:
- with + you to compose keys (for example, Ctrl+s accepts in Smalltalk)
- with , you concatenate key sequences for example (for example, Ctrl+x , s 
saves in Emacs)
