remembered so tools can ask whether the test passed or not.

I think Niall changed it to an external (WeakIdentity)Dictionary in his
last version. I forgot the rationale, but I agreed. It was because of
VW & SUnitToo, IIRC.
It could be by design.
SUnit changes so much that we could even give another name to the classes that
compose it.
