Dear all

This term at the Philosophy of Biology Reading Group, we will be reading
_Did Darwin Write the Origin Backwards?_ by Elliott Sober (Prometheus,
2011). The first meeting will be at 2pm on Friday 27th April in the HPS
Lodge Seminar Room. The full programme is included at the end of this
message.

*Note that, on Friday 25th May, Elliott will be visiting the Department to
give a talk on some of the themes in the book.*

The book is available on Amazon, with prices starting at £7.07:

The first chapter of the book is based on this journal article:

This may be useful if you cannot get hold of the book before the first
meeting.

All are very welcome to attend. Let me know if you have any questions or
would like any further information,

Best wishes
Jonathan.
