Dear all,
The first HPS Philosophy Workshop of the term—and the first in its new timeslot
on Fridays, at 12pm—will be presented by Brian Earp (HPS), who will be giving a
presentation on ‘The Medicalisation of Love’. Please let me know if you would
like to be sent a draft of the paper Brian will be discussing. I hope you will
join us for what I’m sure will be an interesting discussion.
The HPS Philosophy Workshop is a friendly and laid-back venue for junior
members of the HPS and Philosophy departments to present work-in-progress,
draft copies of essays, papers, or thesis chapters, on any topic in the
Philosophy of Science (broadly construed), and getting feedback on them, over
tea, coffee, and biscuits. From this term we are meeting at a brand new time,
on alternate Fridays at 12pm, in the HPS Department.
