Dear all, This term I will be running a Nietzsche reading group on Friday afternoons. The group is primarily for students taking the Part II European Philosophy paper and the sessions will complement this term's Nietzsche lectures. However attendance at those lectures is not required for participation in the reading group, and all are welcome.
We will be reading Beyond Good and Evil, one chapter/part per week, using the 2002 Cambridge University Press translation. Sessions will be Friday 4-5pm in the Faculty of Philosophy Board Room, with the exception of Friday 8 Mar in the Philosophy Graduate Common Room. We begin on Friday 1 Feb 4-5pm with Part One, 'On the Prejudices of Philosophers'. Please feel free to circulate, and hope to see some of you there.
