Everything passed on the latest run except Windows, which is broken for unrelated reasons, but I want to see whether I've solved the problem or the issue is non-deterministic and I just got lucky. (On FreeBSD everything started working after a change that shouldn't have mattered, but my gut feeling is that the failure here was due to a codegen bug.)
