Could you guys make trello.com accounts so we find each other there? Let's give it a whirl.
We had a pretty bad experience with FogCreek/FogBugz at my workplace. Trello looks pretty nice, apparently doesn't rely on a self-written VBScript compiler and seems to fit out bill. Just be sensible with how much you want to rely on a 3-month old free of charge service.
