here is what fdisk -l shows:

Disk /dev/sda: 4551 MB, 4551129088 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 553 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

   Device Boot    Start       End    Blocks   Id  System
/dev/sda4   *         1       552   4433908+  63  GNU HURD or SysV
