I agree with what Peter Bowen has answered. One thing to add: The GNU GPL does not include the permission to redistribute RHEL products or fragments when that would violate Red Hat's trademarks. So, the second conclusion above is partly wrong. Concerning the first conclusion, there is the exception of an unsupported copy of RHEL, e.g. where the customer did not renew his contract at the end of a year. In that case he could install the unsupported (unlicensed) copy on as many machines as he would like. Concerning the third conclusion, yes, I think that is entirely possible. Just think about someone who just wants to evaluate RHEL for some time before deciding whether to purchase it. - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+gNxI0iMVcrivHFQRApX/AJ0ZtCS//CvXOXOYUPUbeVDa9NwvzwCbBeVB y5Wdk4fwMxjYJ4DFd6T4uOQ= =BQLE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Phoebe-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/phoebe-list
