All,

I just received Ray Wilenzick's 2004 phonograph auction price guide
today. Folks, this is a MUST HAVE! It includes pricing on over 4200
phonographs in 100+ auctions from 1987 through 2003, including the "best
of eBay."

Obviously, I heartily recommend it!

Loran

I got my copy of the new Tim/George book "Phonographica" on Saturday and
spent all day with it. It's INCREDIBLE! And each photo is better than the
previous
one!

Then again, recommending these books to Phono-Lers is sort of preaching to
the converted.

More detailed review in my March column in "In The Groove".

Thanks, Steve for the kind words. My wife says that collectors MUST be
getting tired of our books by now; that a saturation point must surely have
been
reached. Sounds like Steve isn't drowning yet - I hope no one else is!

Hi George
I just remarked to Scott Corbett the other day that hypothetically, one could
throw out all other books except for your books, and still one would have a
comprehensive phonograph library.
No danger of that happening tho, as Dethlefson, Rondeau, Baumbach and all the
others have made such impact on the hobby with their research and published
writings. Throwing them out would be unthinkable!
