Hi. I just bought a Victor II Humpback case. The case is in GREAT shape (It's missing the corner columns though), but has no hardware except the hinges to hold the motorboard on. Does anyone know if the single spring motor and back bracket are unique to this machine, or are there other Victors that use the same ones? I want to put this machine back together, but am not an expert in external horn Victors. Any help would be appeciated. I'm located in Northern California.
Regards, Ron P.S. If you happen to have a motor, back support, ID tag, tonearm, or horn elbow for this machine, please drop me an e-mail with price/condition. Repro or Original is fine. I do have a few Victor Victrola motors, and an Edison Standard Black panel horn we could use as a partial trade...as well as a few unrestored Victor Victrolas (and early and late XI, an early IV, and an VIII. Thanks for your help. I have finally completed my collection of the regular 2 minute wax cylinder boxes, thanks to your book, Edison Cylinder Records, 1889-1912. Your book on Edison cylinder records is wonderful and has really helped me over the years. I am delighted it is still in print.
