Very nice Loran.  It's hard to tell from the picture.  Does it have a high 
gloss lacquered finish on it?

Looks great Loran!
But what is that thing underneath the console?  Looks like a foot powered 
remote control!!  I am assuming that the unit is NOT electrically powered even 
though it seems to have an electrical wire leading to it.

Look at this website, there is a Clomba Model Gramophone for sale in
England, and it was on Clumber Street in Nottingham. Too much of a
coincidence, even though it is a small model which fits into leather
carrying case. Could this be by the same firm that made Loran's?
