I think my Little Wonder crank may be an original. It certainly fits well. I'll try to describe it. It is sort of a squared off "S" shape with a pin sticking through about 5/8 of an inch from the end that goes in the slot. When you crank, the pin engages the slotted rod & turns it easily. The dimensions are: Top part of S-1 inch; Middle of S-1 1/2 inches; bottm of of S (which has a 1 1/4 wooden overlay)-1 1/2 inches. I hope this helps.
