another way and easier way to dispose of a record collection
is to either take it to a show to sell them or try kurt nauck and let him buy
it and sell it

Hi List,

Has anyone ever used a triumph shaver? It seems to me that you adjust them
down and lock the shaver in place. With the one on my standard A there is a
screw that you can control how much you lower the cutter making it much easier.
I wanted to know if I was missing something on the Triumph as I did not think
it would have such a difficult set up as compared to the cheaper standard.

Subject: [Phono-L] Zonophone Parts Needed
Message-ID: <[email protected]>

I just picked up an early Zonophone similar to the one in Fabrizio/Paul's
Book "The Talking Machine, an Illustrated Compendium" on page 110, # 3-98. It
needs some parts, most important, a crank. First, is anyone willing to part
with
an original? OK, I know the answer, but I had to ask, right? Then does anyone
know of reproductions being made. I know someone was making them a number of
years ago, but that's when I didn't need one. Many thanks, and here's to
wishing all of you a safe and joyous holiday season, Joe Filer.

Hi Joe --

Here's a source of reproduction cranks:

www.scotlandvacations.com/cranks.htm

I've never dealt with them, but they came recommended by some folks on
another list. I've personally corresponded with Charlie Weatherbee, who
manufactured a crank to my specifications, and was very nice about it.

Hope that helps, and best wishes back at you.

Merle
