I have been receiving and reading mail from old crank for a few years. It sure has been helpful now that I needed it.

I know I do, because I have a W-250 that is my favorite machine. I haven't seen this many responses to any question posted on this list in a very long time. The bottom line is that if you do some searching, you should be able to match the grille-cloth material very closely, and install it in a way that will match the original appearance of your machine quite well. No, it won't be "original" ever again, but you will be repairing a very old, and marvelous machine, one that has survived for a very long time. With some effort, I am sure you can preserve it in a way that will allow your W-250 to be appreciated by those who will follow us as caretakers of these wonderful contraptions.
