I would recommend that your lady friend tell everyone in her family what she is looking for too. Often, someone will have one tucked away in attic or basement thinking that there is no interest in this "old thing" and would be very happy to have it go to an interested family member.

So I told her I would ask the Phono-list on what pricing to look for and not pay too much for a nice working machine if we run across one.
