LOL!! If I wasn't paying for a trio of phonographs right now I would certainly buy it. What convinces me of it's authenticity is that the glass is gold leafed, not gold 'decaled'. Gold leafing is a much more involved process on glass, and very expensive. I used to work for a sign shop that contracted golf leafing. If it was a fake, the gold should be the stick on vinyl type. Also note the wear of the upper left side of the V, consistent with old gold leaf wear, such as is sen on gold leafed vases of the early 20th century. Just food for thought! John
