Hello

Does anyone know anything about the Lambert Phonograph Co of England (?).
They made interesting machines that played 6" cylinders. I have the Model I
& II and am curious about the
history of these machines. Were there further models e.g. III IV etc?

I've just posted pics of them (and a cylinder) at www.romfi.com on this
category path

Music Reproduction > Phonograph-Cylinder > Lambert Phonograph Co. > 1903 >
Music Reproduction > Cylinder Record Labels > Lambert Imperial Cylinder
Record > All Styles

The only difference that I can see between the 2 models is that one had a
horizontal & the other a vertical crank. Also a slightly different case
style.

thanks

Rob

PS I also saw (it's snowing today so I had time to spare) that on ROMFI at
- Music Reproduction > Record Labels - are about 500 different record labels
pictured, most of which I've never heard of!
