My take on this one is that it's fake. The "E" is written in a style he  used 
in the late 80s and early 90s, but in that era the umbrella tended to be  
nearly straight, not deeply rounded and curved. That was his style in later  
years after he had gone to a more flat-bottomed "E". The writing is not on  a 
straight line, which is very uncharacteristic, and most notably there's a  
period 
after the "A", which he never did. The "s" in Edison is also more  slanted 
than typical. I've seen worse forgeries, but this has enough  questionable 
points 
that I'd be very inclined to stay away.....
