A friend of mind just picked up a very early Victrola IV with the metal grill
and the early metal reproducer (Victor O type). According to the Victor Data
Book it's in the first few made. It even has the round earlier brake.

I know that the reproducer is worth quite a bit, maybe more than the machine.
Anyone have an idea of what this machine should be worth?

Thanks

Dan

Subject: [Phono-L] 20th century cylinder help needed
Message-ID: <[email protected]>

Hello
Does anyone have a halfway playable COlumbia 20th Century cylinder? I
acquired a nice COlumbia BG through a trade, and would like at least one 6"
cylinder to play on it, yet I can't afford the $250 price tag that the nice
ones are getting on ebay. I could probably afford $125 to $150 if it were nice
enough to play. Can anyone help me with this quest? Funny, I used to have three
mint ones, but after I sold my BGT I sold the cylinders too, shoulda held onto
them!
  Thanks
  John Robles
