Since I live on the East Coast (Philly area), I have never made it out to the infamous Union show. With recent low airfare bargains (Southwest), I am thinking of going this year. I need to learn more about the Union show from some veterans who are willing to reveal their secrets.
I see that the show is on June 11 (Saturday) and 12 (Sunday) this year. Set-up is on Friday, June 10. I have been to Wayne several times and quickly learned that the "parking lot sale" the day before the actual show was not to be missed. Is there a "parking lot sale" at the Union show? If so, when/where is it? Another highlight of the Wayne show is an invite to the every gracious and all-around nice guy Charlie Hummel's collection. I understand that it is possible to visit Jasper Sanfillipo's collection outside of Union. Once again, any details would be appreciated. Thanks for any and all advice! Greg Caringi
