In the English language there is a tradition for applying the adjective
"Dutch" to an inferior substitute. (Dutch metal= imitation gold leaf, Dutch
Concert= bad music, Dutch Courage= Liquor).  Perhaps "Dutch Edison" might be
a new term for these pieces of crap.
