I was wondering how to replace the thin strip of metal on the governor weight
which is rivoted on. Do they dril the rivit out and tap the hole for a screw?
thanks

Tim,
George Vollema can probably fix you up with new springs and weights, if needed.

I have replaced two sets of those before and both times, George came through
for me with the parts (at a reasonable price).

 Good luck with your project.
Tom
