Hello This machine is a PARLOPHONE, and you'd have to be pretty skilled to dictate on to this model as its only a cylinder shaver. PARLOPHONE also made Cylinder Dictating machines, and the one of the same era as the shaver is in a black metal case, usually on a metal trolley with wheels.
