Gang,

I was the underbidder on the Victor V that sold last night on ebay (item
2244776177) and got an unexpected email this afternoon from the seller saying
the high bidder backed out and was I interested. Well, of course I was! I
wrote back saying I was and got a reply immediately that was more convincing
than anything I've ever seen. Even the email address was the same as the
seller's ID. I wrote back assuming we could work something out, but I also
emailed the seller at the other email address to confirm the machine didn't
sell. She wrote me right back and insisted it sold and she already heard from
the buyer. She did ask for a copy of the fraud's email so she might take some
action.

Look out for this scam, gang, I almost fell for it! It's easy to think a buyer
would back out, since it happens all the time, so beware!

Sean
