I happen to just catch a locksmith before he closed up, who has a shop 2 blocks away yesterday evening after work. Bruce, thanks for the scan image you sent me. I showed the locksmith and he came up with a key that he only had to file down some so it would fit into the hole. The key fits nicely and works great. I plan on going back to get another one made as a spare later. The total charge for the key was $5.00. Can't beat that. Saved me running around looking in flee markets. Thanks again List, keith From steve_noreen Thu May 27 10:23:23 2004 From: steve_noreen (Steven Medved) Date: Sun Dec 24 13:10:42 2006 Subject: [Phono-L] EDISON TRIUMPH PHONOGRAPH OAK CASE CYGNET HORN MODEL E References: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Hi Jim, I appreciate what you did, Thanks again, Steve > I suspected the horn to be wood grained because of the lower part of the > cygnet had lots of scratches and paint loss and showed a very shiney > appearance. > Just like a woodgrained elbow I have.
