I am restoring an early Victor XIV wide door phonograph and am looking for the ring that goes around the tone arm and has 2 screws holes. It is the same black ring that I have on other early Victor cabinet machines that have the long gold tone arm. Any help would be appreciated. Anybody have an idea on the value of an early Victor XIV? It has the same motor as a Vic 5. I have not seen one in years. Hello Everyone, I usually don't "plug" things I sell on ebay, but I am making an exception on this one. I am selling a machine for a client of mine that is not exactly your average Standard cylinder player. It is an Edison Model "F" Standard cylinder machine in near mint condition. It is completely correct according to Mr. Frow's book as it has the small horizontal carriage and the S reproducer with a nice cygnet horn. For more pictures and details, the ebay stock number is 2258466755. Sorry if this is deemed an intrusion to the list but it is a nice machine that isn't very common. I got one off of e-bay several months ago about the same condition but without the cylinders, paid about $1,300.00. Curious to see what it goes for. Good Luck. keith -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, July 21, 2004 1:02 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Phono-L] Ebay plug on Edison Machine Hello Everyone, I usually don't "plug" things I sell on ebay, but I am making an exception on this one.
