Hi Al,
 
I had one of these years ago, it seemed to sound a bit better than the upright 
I thought because of the larger area the horn was in.  They are much harder to 
find than the upright, but the demand is also less so they seem to go for about 
as much as the upright.

And let's face it, they really aren't very attractive.  Rare yes, but so are 
fat fashion models.
