To use the Tung-stone needle you put it in the reproducer and play an old unwanted record to shape it. You then do not move it until you replace it. Steve

I sense I have missed some of the postings, but I like Wyatt's needles. I once had some APSCO needles and it was like the plating was bad. Maybe they have a new supplier now. THe old Yesterday Once Again needles sucked, if I remember, but so did many of their parts like the horrible needle bearings for replacing Edison pot metal bearings. Noisy as hell. And their original oil bronze bearings were a bit smaller than the hole in the casting, so the mandrel shaft wasn't true.
