Being a clock collector also, I thought this was rather neat. It will be 
interesting to see where this goes. Without the Edison dial, this clock is only 
worth $200-300.

I would be very careful on this one.  There have been a number of average 
clocks put on eBay with repro advertizing dials.  These are relatively easy 
to create yourself if you have a decent printer and a software package like 
Adobe Illustrator.  Also note that it is a private auction and you can't see 
the bidders id's.
