I think I've read every page of the reprinted Edison Phonograph Monthly, and 
a clock wasn't mentioned. It would be strange that the company would offer 
such a thing but never promote it in their dealers' magazine!   It is an old 
clock with a not-so-old painting on the face; if you look carefully at the 
pics, you'll see that the colored bits go right across the cracks, showing 
that the paint was applied decades after the clock was made.

I saved photos from the last one this guy offered (last one I saw, anyway) 
and it was a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT KIND OF CLOCK, with a different movement. 
The chances that one promotional item would be made that way are about none. 
Some poor sucker will be out $1500
