You have found something extremely rare. Specially decorated machines are
just not seen. Mahogany cabinets are found but infrequently. In my 40 years
of collecting, your specially decorated mahogany Triumph is the first I have
heard of. If you could provide a picture I am sure all of us would be
delighted to see your great find.
Without photos I have a couple of questions. Was the machine cabinet done
in the same style as the other Model A Triumphs, inset panel with Triumph
banner varnish transfer? Or was it done in the raised panel style of the
Model B
Triumphs? I have seen Model A Triumphs in mahogany done with the B cabinets
that may have been retrofitted or shipped as original.
Did you get the straight Music Master mahogany horn that would likely have
come with this machine?
