I've got a couple of Amberola 50 springs with damage to the centers of the springs. I don't have another Amberola to compare them to and was wondering if they might be in the cans backwards. Right now they are wound in the same way a DD spring would be. That is, with the can on the bench, looking straight down into the open can, the outermost end hooks in and goes to the right, giving the spring a counter clockwise insertion. Is this correct?
