Hi Folks, The Edison drawer 5" Concert is probably the machine that I've wanted ever since I started collecting at 13, fourteen years ago. I'd never had an opportunity to buy a nice complete original example before so when this one came up on eBay I knew I really wanted it! It arrived yesterday via DHL and after some customs clearing issues I unpacked the 2 boxes and I have to say that I am as happy as a pig in the proverbial! It has to be one of the neatest and most original concerts around. It really is outstanding! It never ceases to amaze me that something can survive to be c106 odd years old and still be so sweat. The machine is so untouched I love it!
Just wanted to share the excitement, not my rarest or most expensive machine by far but definitely a special one.
