Is the diamond good, a new one will cost around $75. Play it in the runoff
area, if it leaves a mark the stylus is no good. If you move it around under
the light and see a flat spot, no good. Does it have records? I would not want
to pay much more than $200for it as you want to be able to get your money back
if you wanted to sell. Also are records available in your area?Steve

Come with 32 records. Too bad my 78 horizontal groove records won't work on
a diamond disk.

How can I easily remove the reproducer on this one to check the stylus?

Is there a database of Edison serial numbers to determine exact age? I know
there is one for the victor machines.

Oh, and it's a mahogany.

Michael
