Is the diamond good, a new one will cost around $75. Play it in the runoff area, if it leaves a mark the stylus is no good. If you move it around under the light and see a flat spot, no good. Does it have records? I would not want to pay much more than $200for it as you want to be able to get your money back if you wanted to sell. Also are records available in your area?Steve From [email protected] Thu Jul 20 12:06:32 2006 From: [email protected] (Mgraziano1) Date: Sun Dec 24 13:11:45 2006 Subject: [Phono-L] Phono Value In-Reply-To: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]>
Come with 32 records. Too bad my 78 horizontal groove records won't work on a diamond disk. How can I easily remove the reproducer on this one to check the stylus? Is there a database of Edison serial numbers to determine exact age? I know there is one for the victor machines. Oh, and it's a mahogany.
